DuCoeur Magazine
Editorial Design — Publishing — Brand Identity — Digital Experience — Art Direction
Designed and launched an independent fashion and culture publication, creating a cohesive editorial identity across print, digital, and social while establishing the visual foundation for the magazine from concept through publication.
Overview
DuCoeur Magazine was conceived as an independent publication celebrating fashion, art, and contemporary culture through thoughtful storytelling and refined editorial design. From the first issue onward, I established the magazine's visual identity across every touchpoint, creating a consistent experience from printed pages to digital platforms.
Challenge
Create a distinctive editorial identity that could compete with established independent fashion publications while remaining flexible enough to support evolving content, contributors, and creative voices. The publication needed to feel timeless, sophisticated, and visually engaging across both print and digital.
Creative Concept
Inspired by the rhythm and restraint of contemporary fashion editorials, the design emphasized typography, generous white space, and immersive imagery to create a reading experience that felt elevated and intentional. Every element—from page layouts to digital touchpoints—was designed to let photography and storytelling lead while reinforcing a refined editorial aesthetic.
Role
I developed the magazine's visual identity from the ground up, leading typography, editorial design, layout, art direction, production, publishing, website design, and social media. I established the design system that guided the publication across print and digital while overseeing every stage of the creative process through final publication.
